Imagine the sun setting on the horizon of Skiatook lake while you’re enjoying a bottle of champagne. Well, that’s exactly how Jake & Catherine’s engagement session went.
With a warm breeze & a not-so-full beach, we explored Tall Chief Cove Beach for some fun, but also moody couple photos. The energy of these two together are so down-to-earth, & they are the kind of people that welcome anyone & everyone for a chat.
There came a point where we had already popped the bottle of champagne, drank the whole bottle, watched the sun set, and started packing up to leave as it was getting dark. But instead of instantly heading out, we sat down at a picnic table and just talked & appreciated the quiet nature of our environment. Jake told me about how he proposed to Cat – on stage at the Vanguard while he shredded a guitar, and Cat & I watched the proposal video on Jake’s phone. We talked for a little longer, in no rush to leave, and then walked back to the parking lot together. I just have to say – I really enjoyed being in the moment with Jake & Cat. This session was a reminder of how much I love photographing couples and how much I missed it during all this Rona business. So thankful I can get back to doing what I’m most passionate about.

“My fiance and I LOVED having Jordan as our photographer! The photos are absolutely stunning and such high quality. She became my favorite photographer as soon as I saw our photos. She will make you feel so comfortable throughout the entire session and she keeps in communication so well. You won’t be left guessing on anything! A photography session with her is laid back and fun and you feel as if you’re hanging out with a good friend. We never felt pressured or stressed we just relaxed and made cute memories! 10/10 would recommend!”Catherine
